![]() I'm sorry that is the best I can do in explaining what I would do if I wanted what you want. Since you want this box to take up only about a sixth of your screen, I would change that number to "0.85" or there abouts. Since that "black box" currently takes up the lower 25% or so of your screen I would look for a deltaY number in the 0.70 to 0.80 range. ![]() Look for whatever they call that status area and see if there is a value expressed as deltaY="0.whatever". so, any position between those four points would be shown as "0.01" through "0.99" X0, Y1 = bottom left and X1, Y1 = bottom right. Position X0, Y0 = the top left corner and X1, Y0 = the top right corner of Sygics screen. Sygic refers to "X" and "Y" screen position as a division of "1" with "1" being the entire span of the screen. If you zoom out, the amount of sky shown above the horizon increases. That is if you zoom in, the horizon goes away. Play around with them, that is all anyone else here would do but because of relative screen proportions our results may be different then yours.Įliminating the sky or fog at the top of your map image would be a function of the default zoom level in 3D view. If you look in your application.skin file found in the res/skin directory you should find all that you are looking for. OK, but understand this: The mods you wish to make are relative to screen proportions which are different for these devices. For example I deleted zoom buttons on the top corners, changed refresh rate and many things using instructions for Maemo versions but all files are the same in Symbian and Maemo. Which color to select if you want to change 'the navigate to' - i can't almost not see the fonts - white fonts on a lightblue background. I had it running in a Virtual Machine only, that was reset after use. You must put a lot of trust on this, that it does not do any harm. The website mentioned inside SygicColors is off. The tab "Application" is used while there has not been a GPS fix yet and for menu browsing, tab "Navigation" is used during turn-by-turn navigation etc., tab "Browse" probably when you browse the map (have not tested this).Ĭhanging colors: Mark the name of the color and click (or double click?) on the white field between color and font names.Ĭhanging fonts: Mark the name of the font and click on the button, mark the new font and click the button (cannot remember what exactly it is called).īy the way: There is no indication of the source of the software. I was even able to add new fonts (just move ttf files into the fonts folder).Ĭhanges occur mainly in the skin folder, only changed files must be copied back to the N900.įor editing: You simply have to try and test. I did not try to change icons, just colors and fonts. (Have a backup copy of the folder before making any changes.) You need to download the whole Res folder from your N900 and point SygicColors to that folder on your file system. i dont want to blabber on too long, im sure you guys have got the jist of what im trying to say.Ģ) this is short, how do i add a number to a custom POI that ive made? using this legendary 2 second lock ( which i personally havent had the pleasure to experience) the phone will create a query for the nearest burger king and call it. all of the burger kings will be merged under one contact "burger king", there could be options starting from the top "call nearest (contact name)" then "navigate to (contact name)" (the latter will bring up an option whether to use ovi maps or sygic(if installed)). (e.g burger king) (lol there are many burger kings here). ![]() we could start by typing on the homescreen (like when searching for a contact) for a point of interest. specifically sygic because its got the phone numbers. What im thinking is integrating the mapping apps with the contacts. ![]() instead of opening sygic ,waiting for a gps lock (which takes a few minutes for me) then searching for the closest burger king, then calling it from the poi menu, wouldnt it make the n900 experience soo much more streamlined if the the proccess was switched around a bit? This point is a bit to ask for but for example i want to order from burger king, and dont have the number at hand or in my contacts, but the number is on sygics poi of burger king. but i was wondering about a few things:ġ) is it possible to import/integrate poi's into contacts? i havent really done much to my sygic but i have changed the font and a few icons and full-screned it. I just wanted to say thanks to everhybody on this thread for their usefull comments.
